I Am Proud To Be an MUSTean

MUST LogoMy alma mater, the MUST, never failed to wow people not just with its brilliant students but also with its towering edifices. I am so glad that I became a part of the realization of the newly constructed buildings (in my own little way). I used to work at the Procurement Office in our school and we are held responsible in preparing the necessary documents for the bidding of the said buildings. Among the buildings which I was glad to be a part with were the Science Complex, the Gym Renovation, the landscape of the ICT Building and the Admin Building Renovation. Being in the Procurement Unit is not an easy task. My job descriptions are in accordance to the Procurement Law (RA 9184). We have to be careful in every detail to make the bidding successful. Of course we cannot make it without the guidance of the Bids and Awards Committee.

MUST is among the prestigious universities here in Cagayan de Oro City located along Claro M. Recto Avenue facing the Gateway Towers of Lim Ket Kai.
Engineering Complex Perspective
I am so proud to be an MUSTean and I am equally proud to be among its front liners as PArt-time Instructor.

Just in case you want to explore inside MUST, be guided with this map:

Laguindingan Airport- Soon to Open

courtesy of google.com.ph
I read from one online article that the Laguindingan Airport is scheduled to open by summer (April perhaps). Well, it's going to be a great news considering that the Laguindingan Airport is a world-class international airport. Something that we Mindanaoans (not only Kagay-anons) would be truly proud of. I just hope then that by the time it will be open, the accessibility will be considered when it comes to transportation. I heard that in reaching the Airport through Airport Taxi, it will cost you a hefty Php 1,000.00. Isn't it too much? Well I really do hope that something should be done about this. It is good if you have your own car. How about those lowly commuters like us? I just hope there will be a transportation from bus terminals to the Airport that is affordable enough for the local community. I am hoping as well that Terminal fee won't cost us that much ;)

So what will happen to the current Lumbia Airport? Well, the Philippine AirForce will take over the place.

iHeartKagay-an

I have finally decided to bring back my travel blog to life but this time I have to start from scratch. The time I signed up for CDOBloggers, I was reminded to create a blog for CDO. I used to have one before with other blog format but I gave it up because I could not find time to write on it anymore. As Kagay-anon, I know I have a lot of things to share, all I need is just the right time to gather all my thoughts. Well, am not the traveler type but I love to observe my surroundings. I love nature and I love to let the whole world know how beautiful Cagayan de Oro is. I just hope I will be able to nourish this blog with wonderful insights about CDO and hopefully, I could get a domain to have a good start. AND I just hope people will get notice of my blog. God bless this blog!
